Research / Booking Assistant
Prepare the research and guest coordination behind our interviews and documentary projects. You will investigate people and episode topics, turn sources into useful briefs, and keep guest schedules and recording materials organized with our partnerships lead.
Apply for this roleWhat you will do
- Research prospective or confirmed guests and assigned episode topics using original interviews, reporting, public records, and other traceable sources.
- Prepare a brief with the relevant biography or chronology, links to sources, possible questions, and facts that still need checking.
- Maintain the guest tracker: contact details, outreach status, agreed next steps, availability, and recording confirmations.
- Coordinate pre-calls and recording appointments across time zones, send practical instructions, and follow up on outstanding details.
- Collect approved bios, photos, name spellings, and participation authorizations, then organize them with the episode's research and production notes.
What we are looking for
- Research skills: distinguish a verified fact from an assumption and cite the original source.
- Clear writing and the ability to summarize a large amount of information without losing what matters.
- Careful scheduling, respectful follow-up, and discretion with guest information. Tell us which languages you can research and write in.
Who you will work with
Work with the founder or host on research priorities and with our partnerships lead on guest follow-up. Keep the recording team informed of confirmed dates, requirements, and missing materials so everyone works from the same information.
