Social Media / Content Coordinator

Help bring our shows to social media and stay connected with the audience. You will coordinate the release calendar, write platform-specific copy, and help the team understand what people are responding to. This is a hybrid role based in Quito, combining remote work with in-person collaboration.

Apply for this role

What you will do

  • Maintain a release calendar showing the episode or post, platform, publication date, required assets, approval status, and any outstanding work.
  • Write titles, descriptions, captions, and calls to action suited to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or the channels agreed for the project.
  • Upload, schedule, and publish approved episodes and posts; check links, thumbnails, subtitles, tags, and how the result appears on each platform.
  • Join agreed recording days in Quito to capture behind-the-scenes photos or video, and prepare simple social edits and adaptations with the editing team.
  • Respond to audience comments and messages during agreed coverage hours, route sensitive questions to the founder, and report on retention, engagement, recurring questions, and useful content ideas.

What we are looking for

  • Hands-on publishing experience on platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok, with clear writing and careful final checks.
  • Ability to maintain a content calendar, follow up on missing assets, and adapt copy to each platform.
  • Sound judgment in public conversations and comfort reading basic analytics without reducing success to views alone.
  • Availability for agreed sessions in Quito, and the ability to capture usable behind-the-scenes photos or video and make simple social edits.

Who you will work with

Work with the founder on publishing priorities, with the editor and designer on assets, and with the partnerships lead on guest promotion. Join agreed recordings or team sessions in Quito and keep the release calendar up to date.

An example assignment

Prepare a Plan Z episode release: collect the approved video and artwork, write the YouTube description and social copy, and schedule the posts. Capture behind-the-scenes material on a recording day, follow up on comments, and summarize what the audience responded to.

With your application

  • Two channels or campaigns you worked on, with examples of your copy and an explanation of your responsibilities.
  • Platforms, languages, availability, and rates. Share outcomes with context rather than unsupported growth claims.

We agree on hours, in-person days, channels, posting volume, and response coverage before starting.
